Goodbye to Maria!

Maria, from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, joined our team two months ago, brimming with a curious spirit and an undying thirst for knowledge.
Her project, supervised by Anja, as convoluted as it might sound to the untrained ear, was centered around angiogenesis, the formation of new blood vessels, which is a critical process in the human body.

Maria's project beautifully underscores the importance of comprehensive analysis and extensive characterization of multiple factors on angiogenesis. This research isn’t just important for its own sake; it paves the way for better protocols for generating vascular organoids with higher efficacy, potentially leading to groundbreaking advancements in gene editing or drug testing.

This two-month journey has been an enlightening and rewarding one, and Maria's dedication, hard work, and constant curiosity made it all the more special. It is heartening to know that the future of science lies in such capable hands.
Maria, thank you for your valuable contributions. You're not just an intern, but maybe a new member of the ICG soon. ;-)
