This year in February the time had finally come, the kick-off meeting of the Leducq AtheroGEN took place in Atlanta, Georgia. From our institute Anja , Marlon and Tobias participated personally.
During two days all groups introduced themselves, presentations were given and further collaborations were discussed. At this meeting all groups got to know each other personally for the first time after a long Corona break. As a possibility to get to know each other better, the famous aquarium of Atlanta was visited, with its many fishes and whales. This was very impressive and it was easy to make new acquaintances. All in all a great meeting as a kick-off and we are already looking forward to the next meeting in Berlin in September!
