Science on Friday

Today, Ester Lutgens, Christian Weber, and myself hosted the DZHK "science on Friday" seminar.

The topic was: Atherosclerosis: What’s new in the DZHK? 

We had excellent speakers:  

Ingrid Fleming (Klinikum der Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität) talking about: The endothelial cell S-sulfhydrome and atherosclerosis.

Hendrik Sager (Deutsches Herzzentrum München) talked about "stress promotes atherosclerosis" 

and Alma Zernecke-Madsen (Universitätsklinikum Würzburg) with her talk about: "CD8+ T cells in atherosclerosis". 

 

With almost 90 participants it was quite a successful event. Stay tuned for our next
