Among us

Just like everything else in 2020, the Christmas party this year was different too. Although we could not meet live, roam around in city centre, visit the Christmas markets or eat dinner together but we made the best out of a situation and celebrated the wonderful company of each other online and played “Among us”.

In the beginning, Franzi, Marlon and Henry gave a brief demo and they were kind enough to show us some tricks to play the game better. Undoubtedly, some of us were amazing at killing others and lying about it (lol). Overall, it was a joyful evening and the highlight was the conversations we had in-between. A big thanks to everybody who came up with the ideas and who joined us in the event to make this evening memorable.

Many new fellas joined us this year and unfortunately, we could not offer them the best Christmas experience due to pandemic. One of them, Pashmina, shared her experience as “Due to Corona, Germany is not the same as it was for me the last time I was here. The most awaited glorious Christmas markets, where people from all over the world come to enjoy, will unfortunately not take place this year. The virtually played game was quite fun but we could not sit together and eat for Christmas. Next year, hopefully, we all will enjoy the Christmas parties together warmly with Glühwein and Bratwürsten.”
