Some time ago, we were contacted by
colleagues from Iran whether we would be interested in establishing a
scientific cooperation.
The colleagues from Yazd & Shiraz, Iran, (Ali Jebali and Karim Daliri) are interested in
working up families with rare cardiovascular diseases by exome sequencing and
in using nanoparticles in the therapy of cardiovascular diseases.
Due to the Covid19 pandemic, personal
meetings are not possible in the foreseeable future, but the scientific
interest is great, so we met today for a short virtual workshop.
The meeting was very
productive and so we were able to discuss three quite concrete projects, which
we now want to work on quickly.
I have the feeling we kicked-off an interesting collaboration today!
