Happy news from Cure CMD

Today, Franzi and I received the very good news, that we will get funding from Cure CMD for our project “First steps towards an RNA-based therapy for Col6A2-related myopathy using CRISPR interference”.

Cure CMD was originally founded in 2008 by three parents whose children were affected by Congenital Muscular Dystrophy. Through close collaboration with scientists, doctors, dedicated volunteers, involved families, and generous donors, Cure CMD has achieved significant impact in its first decade as a nonprofit organization. More information about Cure CMD can be found at www.curecmd.org.

We are absolutely thrilled that we can now work under the umbrella of Cure CMD. We look forward working on our project and we hope to have some impact on the development of therapeutic approaches for ColVI-CMD.
