After 3,5 years as a bioinformatics postdoc at the ICG Loreto took the challenge and the chance to start a new life almost 7.500 miles away from Lübeck.On Friday was her last day at our institute.
It is always sad to say "Good-bye", however, academic life means fluctuation with people coming and going. This is something I had to learn in the last 15 years.
Loreto was a very liked team-player, always very helpful and open to new ideas. She will be very well-remembered by the rest of the ICG and surely be missed.
We wish her all the best for her future, private and business!
