After almost 4.5 years of construction the new building of our university hospital (UKSH) was celebrated yesterday.
It is very impressive that a 65,000 m2 new building was built on site at the "old" clinic.
With the installed technology, the UKSH is one of the most modern clinics in the world.
Particular attention was paid to digitalization, and the goal was shorter distances for better patient care.
Yesterday's opening ceremony and the open day interested hundreds of people. The queues were long before you could get into the clinic.
