Yesterday we had very special guests in our institute! Anja's mother had the idea that she would visit Lübeck with her friends and then come to our institute to see what her daughter is actually doing during her PhD thesis (for insiders: she is working on 9p21 and calcification).
Anja prepared a small program in the lab (agarose gel and stuff) and I gave an introduction to our topic at the beginning. I (and Anja) had a lot of fun and I think our guests too.
As a "thank you" present we got a lot of sweeties originally from the "neue Bundesländer".
We can certainly repeat such a nice visit! ;-)
