Today, Jan defended very sucessfully his bachelor thesis about "Suche und Visualisierung genetischer Varianten". Jan was the first bachelor supervised by Matthias (thanks a lot, very well done) at the interface of the ICG and the division of systems biology headed by Hauke Busch.
Jan developed a very useful platform to host, harmonize and visualize our large-scale GWAS and NGS data sets.
We are very thankful for his efforts and we will - over the next months - implement additional features.
For now, we wish him luck and success for his master studies in Hamburg.
We hope to stay in touch!
