Yesterday, the university organized a workshop to evaluate three service platforms - Omics Cluster, biobank and the IT Center for Clinical Research.
All in all, it was an informed discussion about strengths, weaknesses, chances, and risks of each platform. It was pretty clear that all three services are essential for our campus and we now hope that financial constraints will not lead to cuts in the budget.
If our university wants to be competitive, we need some financial investments. Let's keep our fingers crossed!
