Good-bye to Almina!

Friday was the last day for Almina at our institute - after two weeks as an intern to get insights into our work.

During her stay she learned working in a lab by using different methods including cell culture, use of molecular biological methods such as DNA isolation, PCR and Westernblot. Thanks to Annett for taking care.
Also she learned from Stephie to visualise protein structures in 3D. Thanks to Stephie! Finally, thanks to every ICG member for showing her one or the other technique. It was a pleasure to host her as an intern!

At the end we enjoyed together a delicious cake and sweets in our kitchen. Sadly, only half of our team was present, because of vacation, sick leave or attending the ExC retreat in Timmendorfer Strand.

Altogether we wish Almina all the best for her future.

Who knows, maybe we will see her again as a scientist .....
