DZHK Workshop

On Monday, we (Anja and Beatrice) visited Berlin for one day to attend the stem cell biology workshop organised by the DZHK and DGK. The topic of the workshop was “stem cell biology – relevance in cardiovascular basic research”. There were numerous great talks given by experts from all over Germany. Starting at the very basics of stem cell biology we went later through topics such as tissue engineering, iPS cells and endogenous repair and regeneration.  

The program was really interesting and we got new ideas for our own research projects.  It was a great day!
