NCCR Retreat Tremsbüttel 2016

Last Friday, 29.1., we started at 11.30 a.m. from the IIEG to Tremsbüttel. For a part of us it was the first time to go there, we were really curious about the scientific program. Arriving there early we were not able to check in, so we went to the "Kornscheune" to wait for the start of the first sessions. Friday was filled with talks about scientific work and translational research. It was great to see that clinical and scientific research are coming closer.
In the evening, poster presentations of the Young DZHK scientists were held, which gave us the opportunity to talk to colleagues of other DZHK locations. We had a lot of fun.
At the end of the day, we enjoyed a very nice dinner in a historic atmosphere and the winners of the poster price were announced.

After dinner there was a get-together and we all went to bed early to be well-rested for the scientific program of the next day ;)
Saturdays program consisted of mainly clinical talks that were also very interesting and informative for us. After Lunch we drove back to the IIEG with a lot of new knowledge and fresh ideas. We're looking forward to come back next year.
