Our e:AtheroSysMed consortium is funded since Fall 2013, and every 6 Month we organize a two-days meeting to discuss progress of our projects.
This is why we had our third meeting in the Brauereigasthof Hotel Aying close to Munich on Friday and Saturday.
It is almost like coming home, because the hotel, meeting room, neighborhood, and of course the colleagues we meet are very familiar.
The spirit is very relaxed and inspiring in regard to the science we discuss.
The first evening ends always with a delicious Dinner in a very festive atmosphere.
On Saturday we start always very early, at around 8:00, and the meeting usually ends around Lunch time.
We booked our flight (to be safe) for late afternoon, that left us (Ingrid, Christina and myself) with plenty of time at the Munich airport for shopping.
The e:AtheroSysMed project will run at least until Fall 2016 (however, a second funding period of 2 more years is very likely), hence Aying can expect to see us at least two more time.
However, we have already decided to organize the (pre)final meeting after the three years funding period in Lübeck. Great to see all the dear colleagues in Summer/Fall 2016 in Lübeck!
