Sadly, today it was time to say "Good-bye" to Michele.
He worked in our Institute for three months as an intern fellow funded by the RISE program (RISE program).
RISE is an internship program for undergraduate students in different fields of life science.
This program offers unique opportunities for Bachelor students to work with research groups at universities and research institutions across Germany for two to three months.
For us it was a wonderful opportunity to get to know Michele.
In the end we all were a (little bit) sad to say "good-bye".
We all hope that he will come back for his bachelor, master or doctoral thesis in the next years.
We will remember him as part of our Institute not only as a brilliant young scientist but also as a very commited team player. Many thanks to Michele!
