Today we had the first joint seminar with people from the "Institut für Bewegungsstörungen und Neuropsychiatrie bei Kindern und Erwachsenen" at the University of Lübeck headed by Prof. Alexander Münchau.
The aim of this joint seminar was to get to know each other better and to learn what the people on the same floor are actually doing.
It was a very interesting meeting with lively and inspiring discussions about Tourette Syndrome, tip toe mice, complex genetics, inflammation and atherosclerosis, genotype/phenotype correlations, and TMS as well as connectivity of the motor cortex.
Not obvious, but "neuro" and "cardio" fit very well; we actually plan to meet on a regular basis in the future.
